• Anatomically shaped for gentle and even pressure distribution
• Mouthpiece is relatively stable in the mouth for good acceptance of the bit
PRODUCT INFORMATION
Description:
The Apple Mouth bit has a plastic mouthpiece that releases a subtle apple flavour on contact with saliva. This stimulates the horse to produce more saliva, which makes it easier for the horse to accept the bit. At 15 mm the mouthpiece is relatively narrow and is therefore well suited to horses that have less space in the mouth.
Product features:
This single-jointed eggbutt snaffle has a plastic mouthpiece with a metal core and stainless steel rings. Thanks to the combination of flexible plastic and high-quality stainless steel the bits are stable yet particularly soft and kind. The plastic has a hardness of 90A and is FDA-approved. This means the material is free from solvents, contains no plasticisers and is also non-toxic. The anatomical design follows the shape of the horse's mouth and creates soft and even pressure distribution. An eggbutt snaffle has rings that cannot rotate freely. This makes aids more direct. This type of bit is generally well accepted because the mouthpiece sits relatively firmly in the mouth.
Dimensions:
Mouthpiece thickness: 15mm
Ring diameter: 55 mm
